Differential diagnosis of lesions of the oro- and nasopharynx, salivary glands (diphtheria, tonsillitis, fusospirochetal symbiosis, epidemic parotitis). Anaphylactic shock and serum sickness in clinics of infectious diseases.

6. (5th day of the cycle)

Differential diagnosis of exanthema in the clinic of infectious diseases (typhoid fever, meningococcemia, pseudotuberculosis, typhus). Infectious-toxic shock in the clinic of infectious diseases. Extended definition of AIDS in adults and adolescents. Classification of clinical stages, criteria for diagnosis - major and minor. The role of HIV infection in the formation of lymphadenopathy syndrome, Differential diagnosis of this syndrome.

11. (7th day of the cycle)

Methods of nonspecific and specific diagnosis of HIV infection. Algorithm for conducting research. Rules for conducting pretest counseling and testing for HIV infection, educational work. Post-test testing. Psychological basics of communication with such patients. Principles and approaches to treatment of patients with HIV infection. General characteristics of the groups of drugs used in the treatment of HIV infection.
